Paul Biro Jr. of New Franklin, 94, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 22, 2024.
Paul was born on December 20, 1929 in Akron, Ohio. He was a graduate of Suffield High School and the University of Akron. Paul was a retired Engineer from Goodyear Aerospace. He was married to his wife Margaret for 71 years. He learned to play the accordion and loved polka dancing with Marge. Paul enjoyed traveling with his family to the beach and watching sports. Paul was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and passed on his love of gardening, farming and sports to his grandchildren.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents Paul Biro Sr. and Anna Biro, and siblings Vincent Biro and Janice Hood. He is survived by his wife Margaret Biro, his children Ronald (Debbie) Biro, Paul (Dana) Biro and Karen (Mark) Hennis; grandchildren Garrett (Madelyn) Biro, Alison (Kellen) Otradovec, Nick Biro, Max (Kimmie) Hennis, Alex (Lauryn) Hennis, Cameron (Logan) Garrett, and great grandson Hayden Hennis.
Paul’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Rev Ernie Kemppel, officiating. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations can be made in Paul’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or The National Kidney Foundation.
