Peggy Ann (Beddow) Baughman

Peggy Ann Baughman, 82, passed away January 22, 2023, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's, with her family by her side.

She was born January 26, 1940 in Akron and was a graduate of Norton High School and lived her whole life in the area. Peggy retired from PerkinElmer after many years of service. Peggy loved beach vacations at the Outer Banks, riding her bicycle and spending time with her grandchildren.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Alice and Wayne Graves; and her husband William Baughman. She is survived by her children David, Chris (Mika) and Janine (Len); grandchildren Alexandria (Kevin), Derek, Jessica, Jared and Jillian; great-grandchildren Natalie and Joey; brothers Ralph (Linda), Willard (Connie) and Wayne (Teresa); and sister Georgiana (John).

A very special "Thank You" to the staff of Pleasant Pointe, Pleasant View Health Care Center and Crossroads Hospice, for their excellent care.

Per Peggy's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
