BARBERTON---Richard L. Freese, "Frosty, 73, passed away suddenly on January 11, 2014. Dick was born in Lodi, lived in Medina most of his life and resided in Barberton for the past 28 years. He retired from B and C Research after 17 years of service. He was a member of the Magic City Democratic Club an various square dance clubs. Most of all Dick loved riding his motorcycle and watching NASCAR. Preceded in death by his parents Edna and Orlin; He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Janice L.; sons Brian, Mark (Lisa) and Paul; stepsons Kenny (Penny) Mong and Donny Mong (Sharon Howell); five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters Margaret Heath, Jeanette (Carl) Barkalow, Evelyn Gregory, Ethel (Harry) Stempeski and Donna (Jerry) Snyder; brothers Jim (Sue Ellen) and John C. (Shirley); and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 11am to 2:00 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Russ Shreiner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
