Richard J. Hackett, Sr

NORTON---Richard J. Hackett Sr., 72, went home to be with Jesus and the Love of his Life, his wife of 49 years Aliece on February 8, 2015.

He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and then in Law Enforcement for 33 years. Preceded in death by his wife Aliece; parents, Harold and Mary; sister Marianne Yorde; and two grandchildren; Survivors include his son Richard Hackett Jr.; daughter Laurie (David) Hutchison; grandchildren Joey and Noah Hackett and Cameron, Michaela, Cassandra and Trey Hutchison; and sister Carol (Ed) Hutchinson.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson officiating. A luncheon will follow at F.O.P. #7 Lodge at Wolter Park. There will be no calling hours.
