Richard J. Kurian

NORTON---Richard J. Kurian, 85, passed away July 14, 2015.

Richard was born in Cleveland and was an area resident all his life where he retired from Cleveland Press and the Plain Dealer. He was also a proud Army Veteran having served during the Korean War.

Preceded in death by his wife Viola in February 2015; Survivors include his daughters Bernice (Thomas) Brumbaugh, Michelle Chapman and Cheryl (Ryan ) Haught; grandchildren Reed, Riley and Rebecca Haught; and close friends Rick and Carol Rife.

The family would like to thank the wonderful neighbors Richard had.

Private services are being held for the family with burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
