COPLEY---Richard Roth, 64, passed away June 7, 2013 after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Born in Barberton, OH to parents Genevieve and Joseph Roth, Rich comes from a loving family of 8 children. A graduate of Hoban High School 1967 and The University of Akron, BS Accounting 1972, Rich worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years as a Commercial Underwriter for companies such as AIG, Hartford and Kemper. His last 13 years before retiring was assisting friends, family, and clients as a Financial Advisor for Ameriprise. Rich is survived by his wife Nancy, and his 5 children, Benjamin, Zachary, Nicholas, Courtney, and Christopher. He also leaves behind his sisters and brothers Pat (Russ) O'Neil, John (Barb) Roth, Susan (Jay) Mitzel, David (Dot) Roth, Janet (John) Raber, Jeannie (John) Hite, Joan (Joe) Minder, mother-in-law Florence (Andy) Garnick, brothers and sisters-in-law Kathy & Terry McElvenny, Jeannine & Phil Sisko, Pam & Sam Tracy, and Tricia Rasicci (deceased) along with numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1686 South Cleveland Massillon Road, Copley, OH 44321. Fr. James Kramer Celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME 1199 Wooster Rd West, Barberton, OH 44203.
