BARBERTON---Richard D. Wilsterman, 84, passed away December 26, 2010 at the Doylestown Health Care Center. He was born in Barberton where he was a life resident and retired from Yoder Brothers after 47 years of service. Dick was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church where he was very active with the Holy Name Society and Holy Hour Program. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus 1617 and the United Fellowship Club. He loved gardening and sharing his love of music with his children and grandchildren. Dick was also a proud Army Veteran having served during WWII. Preceded in death by his wife Mary (nee Herold) in 2009, parents William and Marie; brothers Charles, Howard and Donald; sister Alice; and daughter-in-law Kim Wilsterman; Survivors include his daughter Barbara (Robert) Leasure; sons Donald, Michael (Marcia), Timothy (Debra), Richard (Fran), David (Tammy) and Mark; 25 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and brothers William (Harriett) and Raymond (Shirley). Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Thursday morning at 9:30 AM. Memorials may be made to Catholic Charities or the Parkinson's Foundation.
