Robert A. Fisher

BARBERTON---Robert A. Fisher, 73, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 16, 2014.


Born in Staten Island, New York, he had been a Barberton resident most of his life where he retired from the City of Barberton Street and Building Departments and also P.P.G. Industries. Bob was a member of the Loop and also a proud U.S. Coast Guard Veteran.


Preceded in death by his wife in November of 2013, Carol A.; and parents William I and Elizabeth; Survivors include his daughters Cindy Shirey, Joanne Garabito, Beth Fisher-Cominsky and Janet Fisher; grandchildren Brent, Tasha, Jessica, Derick, Amanda, Dusty, Casey, Annie, John and Scott; six great grandchildren; and brother Bill (Libby) Fisher.


Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, January 20, 2014 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Bill Eshelman officiating. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling Hours Sunday from 1-4 P.M. at the funeral home.
