Robert W. Lods

NORTON---Robert W. Lods, 91, passed away March 21, 2011 at
Summa Barberton Hospital.

Bob was born in Barberton and was a life resident of the
Barberton and Norton area where he retired from P.P.G. Industries as an
Engineer. He was a member of the
Barberton First Church of Christ, the National Railroad Society and one of the
founders of Hale Farm and Village Railroad.
He was also a model train enthusiast and a proud Army Veteran having served
during WWII.

Preceded in death by his wife Sylvia; Survivors include his
brother-in-law and sister-in-law Paul and Dorien Mattle; brother-in-law Jack
Mattle; sisters-in-laws Doris Thomas and Virginia Mourton; cousin Norm
Schindler; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2011, 11:30
AM at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Terry Marsh officiating. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National
Cemetery. Calling Hours TONIGHT from 5-8
PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
made to the Barberton First Church of Christ.
