Robert S. Myers

NORTON---Robert S. Myers, 49, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015. Rob was born in Barberton and was an area resident all his life. He graduated in 1984 from Barberton High School and went on to graduate from the University of Akron. He was the owner of Invisible Fence of Canton and a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Portage Lakes. Rob was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer and an all-around outdoorsman. He loved spending time at his farm in Freeport, OH. Rob had a love for pets, especially his dogs. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Steven Sabol and William and Dorothy Myers; Survivors include his loving wife Judy A.; stepchildren Lauren and Erick Elfrink; parents Robert and Marlene; grandmother Helen (Sabol) Solosky; sister Carol (Kevin) Roman; nieces Bella and Abby Roman; father and mother-in-law George and Janet Esterle; brother-in-law David (Krista) Esterle; niece and nephew Stephanie and Nick Esterle; and many other relatives and close friends. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 from 4-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Funeral Service will be Friday, 10:00 A.M. at Hope Lutheran Church, 999 Portage Lakes Dr., Akron. Rev. Jack Kozak, officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
