Robert J. Pitz

Robert J. Pitz (Bob), Born July 29, 1945, passed away May 5, 2021.

Bob has left behind his daughter Amy Pitz, son Matt Pitz, girlfriend Patti Day and daughters-in-law Tammi and Kari. Grandchildren Jacob Pitz, Ryan Ritter, Caileigh Ritter and Jason Cake. Great grandson Liam Pitz. He was preceded in death by his daughter Mary Beth Pitz and wife Marilyn Pitz.
Bob loved spending time at the casino's and dinners out with his many friends and co-workers.
He served the country he loved in the United States Navy and proudly retired from the Barberton Police Department.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St. NW. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
