Ronald F. Brigley

Ronald F. Brigley Sr. 95, went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2025.

Ron was born in New York City and moved to Barberton where he has been a resident since 1950. He was a proud Army Veteran and stationed in Korea for three years where he was a paratrooper and in the First Calvary and received a Purple Heart along with many other medals. He retired from East Ohio Gas Company and was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Norton. Ron loved fishing, golfing and woodworking and will be missed by everyone.

Preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Marguerite; and sons Douglas and Ronald Jr.; He is survived by his daughters, Jacqueline Konich, Sandra Taylor (Heather), and Cynthia McClanahan; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Ron's Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Justin T. Rogers Hospice care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
