Rosario (Rosenberry) Prinzo
Rosario Prinzo, 96, formerly of Ellet, went home to be with the Lord, October 16.
Born November 11, 1913 in Mexico City, Rosario moved to Akron in 1947. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and retired from Goodyear International in 1973. She taught Spanish at the Berlitz for many years.
Preceded in death by first husband Milford Rosenberry and second husband Joseph Prinzo; she leaves her family, James and Patricia Prinzo, of Barberton; Gerald and Suzi Prinzo, of Wadsworth; Joseph and Virginia Prinzo, of Marietta, Ga.; grandchildren, Maria (Donnie) Dobbins, Gregory, Daniel, Anthony and Angela Prinzo, Gina (Ed) Shultz and Crissy (Bo) Waldrip; six great-grandchildren; as well as her family in Mexico, Adriana Abad, Fernando Abad, Jose Ma.Cuervo and Maria Fernando Abad and many close friends whom she enjoyed through the Spanish Club, Yak-Yak Club, Birthday Club and St. Matthew's Ladies Guild.
Special thanks to the staff of Ridgewood Healthcare Center for all of the love and care they provided Rosario over the last three years and thank you also to the staff of Odyssey Hospice for their loving care and support.

There will be no calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. at St. Matthew, 2603 Benton Ave., Akron 44312. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Rosario's name to Ridgewood Healthcare Center, 3558 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333 or to St. Matthew.
