Rose Marie (Schmidt) Powell

NORTON---Rose Marie Powell, 88, passed away April 19, 2022. She was born August 17, 1933 in Barberton, the daughter of Lawrence and Helen Schmidt. Rose was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Donald Sr.; grandson Richard Black; parents Lawrence and Helen; sister Mary Ann Weigand; and brother Lawrence Jr.; She is survived by her sons Don Jr. (Carol) of Rittman and Bob of Norton; daughters Terri (Ron) Smith of Norton, Leigh (Lennie III) McKinney of New Franklin and Debbie Black of Norton; grandsons Lennie IV, Joshua, Stephen and Ron; granddaughters Kelly, Angie, Sara, Rhianon and Rachel; 27 great-grandchildren; sister Kathy Eggleston; sister-in-law Sarah Susong; brother-in-law Joe Harrison; and several nieces and nephews.
