Rosemary A. Pintur (nee Sefranko)

BARBERTON---Rosemary A. Pintur (nee Sefranko) 82, passed away July 2, 2011.

Born December 8, 1928 in Barberton, she was a retired librarian in the Akron school system at Henry and Leggett elementary schools. She was a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokol, Wreath 103 and was their financial secretary for over 30 years. She was currently a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and a former member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, until it was forced to close, where she was a member of the St. Anne Society. She also started the library and served as the first librarian at their elementary school in the 1960's.

Preceded in death by her husband Frank P., son Edward, parents Alojis & Rozalia Sefranko, brother Andrew Sefranko and sisters Johanna Gonsiewski & Anne Kulcsar; she is survived by her son, Frank A. (Elaine); grandson David; sister Hermina Sefranko; brother-in-law Steve Kulcsar; and a host of nieces, nephews and other friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011, 1:00 P.M. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204-6th St NW, Barberton. Fr. Edward Lajack celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd.
