Ruth E. (Donley) Adkins

Ruth E. Adkins, age 93, passed away December 23, 2022. She was born in Cambridge, Ohio and lived in the Akron area most of her life. She was a member of Lakemore United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Ida Donley. Beloved wife of the late James V. Adkins for 59 years; beloved mother of Cheryl (Dan) Simpson and Vickie (Larry) Holmes; dearest grandmother of Andrea (Darren) Dietzmann, Christie (Mark) Rogers, Chad (Naomi), Jonathan, Eric (Emily) Nelson; dearest great-grandmother of Ruby Rogers, dear sister of James Donley, the late Evelyn Burch and Dorothy Larrick; several nieces and nephews.

Ruth’s Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. W., Barberton with Rev. David Whitt officiating. Burial at East Liberty Cemetery, Akron.
