Ruth Elizabeth Kallai, 90, joined our Lord and Savior in Heaven on November 14, 2012. Born in Barberton, Ohio, Ruth lived in the Barberton area all of her life. She dedicated her life to raising her ten children and serving her husband of 44 years, George Kallai, whom preceded her in death October of 1984. Ruth is most known as the "Mother of the Mat." She never missed one of her sons or grandsons wrestling matches throughout the years, and you could always hear her shouting from the middle of the stands for her boys. Ruth's tenancity was not only with her boy's wrestling but, was also seen in her amazing cooking and baked goods. She put her heart and soul in each piece of pie and every piece of 'Gramma K's' famous chicken. Ruth loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards (especially War), and attending Mass every Sunday at St. Augustine Church, where you could hear her beautiful voice singing God's praise. Ruth graced our lives with her love, humor, and patience. From our arms to God's arms, our loss is heaven's gain. Ruth is preceded in death by husband; George Kallai, brother,Lucien Bonnain; sister, Josephine Wieczorek; sister, Esther Genet; brother, Joseph Bonnain; sons, Mike and Arthur; grandson, Mike Kallai Jr. She is survived by her son, George Kallai (Frances); daughter, Aline M.
