Sandra K. (Neal) Flaker

NEW FRANKLIN---Sandra K. Flaker, 73, passed away suddenly on January 31, 2022.

Sandra was born in Barberton and was an area resident all her life. She was a former member of St. George Catholic Church and current member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Sandra was an excellent seamstress, cook, baker and singer. She also enjoyed crafting and gardening. Most of all she loved being with her family.

Preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Lenora Neal; and brother Brian Neal; She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, George J.; children Michelle (Eric) Purtan, Michael (Jacqueline) Flaker and Allison (Nick) Miller; grandchildren Dustin (Emma) Purtan, Mackenzie Purtan, Matthew and Sarah Flaker, Michaela Miller and Laura and Madeline Flaker; great-grandchildren Aria and Jace Purtan; brother Kevin (Amy) Neal; sister-in-law Joy Neal; and special friend and caregiver Beth Redhead.

Sandra’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Fr. Peter Morris officiating.
