Sandra R. McKenzie

Sandra Ruth McKenzie, age 80, of Barberton, Ohio passed away July 19, 2026, surrounded by family. Sandie was born December 30, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Sandie graduated from South High School in 1963. She retired from AT&T in 1992 after 30 years of service. Sandie also worked various part-time jobs after retirement until 2020.

Sandie was an avid Cleveland Guardians and Cavaliers fan and loved playing board and card games.

Preceded in death by her father, Brady Sammons, mother, Grace Sammons (Marcum) and brother-in-law, Vincent Turkovich, she is survived by her sister, Joyce Turkovich, nieces Michelle Wickenheiser and Misty (Marty) Villers and their children Brandon Wickenheiser (Jenny), Carli Wickenheiser (Coby), Madison Villers-LaJara (Chase), Peyton Villers (Angela) and Katlyn Villers (Sid) and many other family members.

She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 11 am - 12 pm at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Funeral service at 12:00 p.m. followed by a luncheon at Hopocan Gardens, Barberton, Ohio at 1 pm. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Grove City, OH.
