Sandra R. (Kline) Mitchell

BARBERTON---Sandra R. Mitchell, (nee Kline), 83, passed away peacefully March 4, 2022.

Sandy was born in Barberton where she was a life resident. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ where she was active in the Women’s group and was the designated baker. Sandy volunteered for many years for the Barberton Band Boosters, the Salvation Army and Pleasant View Health Care Center. She also loved her trips to the beach and spending time with her family.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Eugene “Dutch”; daughter Nancy Sue; son Mark; sister Jackie; and brothers Nelson and Henry “Ray” Kline; She is survived by her sons E. Tim, Richard J. and Christopher S. (Beth); grandchildren Derek, Brevan and Madison Mitchell and Aiden and Tyler Smith; sister-in-law Norma Kline; numerous nieces and nephews; and many honorary grandchildren.

Sandy’s Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Southwest Church of Christ, 516-33rd St. SW, Barberton. Pastor Nathan Robinson officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
