Stephen E. Beney

DUNEDIN, FL---Stephen E. Beney, 82, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2012. Steve was born in Barberton where he retired from the Barberton/Norton Post Office after 37 years of service. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, P.R.C.U Lodge 977, the VFW and Norton Volunteer Fire Department. Steve was also a proud Army veteran having served during the Korean War. Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Anna E.; daughters Stephanie Beney of Akron and Laura Dzubara of Uniontown; granddaughters Kaitlyn and Taylor Dzubara; sisters Margaret Angeloff and Elizabeth Kotnik; and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Wednesday morning at 9:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
