BARBERTON---Stephen Trenta, 72, passed away February 9, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center.

Steve was born in Barberton and retired from the Babcock and Wilcox Co. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, loved fishing, wood working, traveling and was a computer buff. Steve was also a proud Air Force Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.

Preceded in death by his parents Louis Sr. and Frances; and sisters Natalie Muren and Veronica Neal; He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years Margaret “Margo” (Weigand); son Brad (Teresa) Trenta; stepsons Todd (Alicia) Toth and Scott (Alice) Toth; five grandchildren; one step-grandson; brothers Louis Jr. (Micki), Gerald (Lynn), Richard (Linda), Joseph (Linda), Mark (Toni), Raymond (Kathy), Lawrence (Mary) and Paul (Nannette); sisters Constance Trenta, Mary Kay (Don) Hartman and Nora Jane (Richard) Perino; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St. NW., Barberton. Masks are required and Social Distancing please. There will be no calling hours. Private family interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the St. Augustine Church Endowment Trust Fund.
