Steven W. Winans

Steven William Winans, 65, passed away unexpectedly January 9, 2024, at home.

Steve was born in Barberton and grew up in Norton. He graduated from Norton High School in 1977, where he loved playing football. He was an avid sports fan throughout his life and a huge Brown’s fan. He also enjoyed trips to Florida and out west to Vegas and California. Steve read his bible, had a big heart for others, he was generous and made us all smile. He loved cars and dogs.

Preceded in death by his parents, Patricia Fahey and Bill Winans, and his nephew Ryan Weinmann. He is survived by his sister, Deb Winans, brother, Jimmy Winans, sister Sharon (Greg) Schott and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling Hours for Steve will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home.
