Sylvia J. Breiding

Sylvia J. Breiding, 95, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025 at The Village of St. Edward at Wadsworth.

Sylvia was born in Barberton where she was a life resident. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with all her children and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Louis; daughter Linda Burgess; son Stephen: daughter-in-law Wendy Breiding and son-in-law Brad Fox. She is survived by her sons Michael (Diane), Kenneth (Sue) and Jeffrey; daughter Renee Fox; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and sisters Sheila Rider, Susan (Rocky) Cestaro and Michelle (Dale) Brown.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to The Village of St. Edward at Wadsworth, memory care unit for their care of Sylvia.

Sylvia’s Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. James Maloney, celebrant. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours ONE HOUR PRIOR to the Mass, AT THE CHURCH.
