Terrill "Terry" L. (Fling) Hebb

Terrill "Terry" L. Hebb, (nee Fling), 72, passed away on February 13, 2023 with her family by her side.

Terry was born August 31, 1950 in Weston, WV to the late Jack and Doris (Williams) Fling. She graduated from Barberton High School  and earned her degree in math and computer science from Purdue University. Terry was involved in band and as a majorette at BHS and Purdue University. She traveled the country with the band and had many wonderful experiences – even landing a cameo in the Steve McQueen movie ‘ Bullitt`. Terry was hired right out of college by Goodyear World Headquarters/ IBM in Akron, where she worked for approximately 40 years, retiring in 2012. She lived in the Barberton area most of her life. Terry loved photography and being close to friends and family.  She could always be counted on to help when there was a need. She will be truly missed.

Terry is survived by sister Marla Fling; brothers Roger (Mary) Fling, Jim (Tracy) Fling; nieces and nephews Corey (Katie) Fling, Jack and Zoe ; Kristen Fling , Eleanore ; Eddie Fling , Evelyn ; Dylan Fling ; Nick (Heather) Fling, Jace , Meredith and Savannah .

Calling Hours for Terry will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 3-5 p.m. at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barberton Area Community Ministries or the Wounded Warriors Project.
