Theresa M. Miller

Theresa M. Miller, 73, passed away suddenly on June 16, 2024.

Theresa was born December 18. 1950 to Burdette and Marie Miller. She worked at the Babcock and Wilcox Co. for 22 years, London’s Candy, First Energy and retired from the Summit County Adult Probation Dept.

She was a devout catholic and made a weekly Holy Hour at St. Augustine Church. Theresa loved all her friends at the Sokol Club, her many birds and took in homeless cats especially Max and Blackie.

Preceded in death by her parents; brothers John, Thomas and Michael; and sisters Joyce Childers and Jane Boissett; and her devoted partner Roger Tenney. Theresa is survived by her brother Mark and her sister Karen Miller; along with many family members and friends.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St. NW., Barberton. Calling Hours will be held on Friday from 9-10 a.m. at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. W., Barberton. Private burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Augustine Church or the Slovak Catholic Sokol Club #167, 888 W. Hopocan Ave., Barberton.
