Thomas R. Gradijan

BARBERTON---Thomas R. Gradijan, 73, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2016 at Akron City Hospital.

Tom was born in Akron and had been a Barberton resident all his life where he retired from National City Bank after 27 years of service. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church where he served as an usher and helped with the funeral luncheons. Tom was also a proud Army Veteran during Vietnam where he served in the 18th Surgical Hospital "MA", 1st Calvary Division, 2nd Infantry Div., and 42nd Civil Affair's Company.

Preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Anna; and brothers John, Donald and Carl; He is survived by his brother Stephen J. (Christine); and nephew Francis (Jen).

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave. Norton. Rev. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Monday from 6-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church.
