Vic Pilkington

Vic Pilkington, 67, passed away unexpectedly with his family by his side on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016. Vic was born in Danville, IL and had been an Akron resident most of his life. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co after 40 years of service. Vic enjoyed being a political analyst and blogger but more so loved spending his time with his grandkids.  He never missed any of their sporting events. Preceded in death by his father Mervin; He is survived by his daughter Jori (Bill) Hogg; son Michael; grandchildren Taylor, Zachary and Brooke Hogg; mother Carmen Pilkington; sisters Delynn (Bruce) Stanley, Sandy Montgerard and Gail Villarreal; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 2-4 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
