Vicky L. Beck

BARBERTON---Vicky L. Beck (nee (Boerstler), 58, passed away February 13, 2014 at Akron City Hospital.


Vicky was born in Barberton where she was a life resident and worked as a Food Service Manager at Copley-Fairlawn Middle School for 19 years, where she loved all the children she worked with. She loved all animals, traveling, taking motorcycle trips and was an avid boater. Vicky was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. Most of all Vicky lived for her family.


Preceded in death by her father Jimmie Boerstler; and father-in-law James Beck; She is survived by her loving husband James T.; sons Adam James (Emily Katherine) and Capt. Nicholas Patrick (Allison Kate); mother Gloria Boerstler; sisters Pam (Tom) Jackson and Jamie (Tim) Porter; and numerous other relatives.


Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:0 A.M. on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204-6th St. NW, Barberton. Inurnment at Lakewood Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of Greater Akron, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH, 44087.
