Victor J. Rego

BARBERTON---Victor J. Rego, 80, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2013.


Vic was born in Barberton where he was a life resident. He retired from P.P.G. Industries and also from the City of Barberton. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Norton.


Preceded in death by his wife Lucille; Survivors include his children Diane (Terry) Falkenstein of Brimfield, Ruth (Dennis) Gutshall of Norton, Marty (Valerie) Rego of Norton and Mary (Bob) Cash of South Carolina; grandchildren Adam, Jonathon, Rachel, Zachary, Emily, Christopher and Nicholas; brothers and sisters-in-law Dr. Raymond (Ann) Dutchman of Norton and Dr. Richard (Karen) Dutchman of Akron; and many loving nieces and nephews.


Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Wednesday morning at 9:30 A.M.
