Victoria E. Schick, 76, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2026. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister and was loved by all and will be missed.
Victoria was born in Canal Fulton, Ohio. She was married to the love of her life, William E. Schick (Bill). They lived in Ohio for many years until she and Bill moved to New Orleans, where they lived for 10 years, and then settled in South Carolina. After her husband’s death, she moved to Wadsworth, Ohio to be close to family.
Victoria was well dressed and very stylish and took immense pride in keeping a well-organized home. Victoria always had funny stories to tell, and everyone loved hearing them. She was quite a character. She always put her grandchildren first and they will always cherish the special holiday memories they shared with her. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and recently enjoyed learning their latest dance moves.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Rose Marie (Roe) Klein, husband, William E. Schick (Bill), brothers, Skeeter and Mickey, and stepdaughter, Erin.
Victoria is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Sandor Jakab, and their six children, Ava, Sandor, Elise, Olivia, Zsofia and Krisztian. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 12:45 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
