Vincent Edward Ligas went home to with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Norma Ligas, and his daughter Kelly Ann Ligas.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Kim Ligas; his sons and their wives, Vincent and Gina Ligas and Matthew and Andrea Ligas; five grandchildren, Jacqueline and husband Caleb, Grace and fiancé Cameron, Vincent and wife Skyler, Jacob and wife Anna, and Kylie; two great grandchildren, Vincent and Jacob; and his six siblings, Linda Rammel, Gerlyn Frascone, George Ligas, John Ligas, Robert Ligas, and Martin Ligas.

Born and raised in Barberton, Ohio, Vincent worked in the grocery business and retired from Giant Eagle after 40 years of service. Vincent’s whole life evolved around his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his siblings. He was a loving and loyal friend to many. He enjoyed traveling with his family, playing racquetball with his friends, ballroom dancing, playing Euchre, good wine and bourbon, Barberton chicken dinners, and watching the Steelers play. He loved Christmas, so much so that he kept his Christmas tree up year-round. However, he was most at home on his patio, with all his family and friends around the fire pit where he would watch the stars and feed all the birds and other woodland creatures that visited.

Vincent was a devout Catholic who always made sure that he attended Church no matter where life took him. The fruits of his faith and love for Jesus Christ were evident to all that knew him.

Although he will be deeply missed by all who knew him and there will be a void that can never be replaced by his absence here, we can look forward to being with him again in heaven in eternal worship of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
