COPLEY---Violette I. Alexander, 87, passed away November 16, 2010 at Lorantffy Care Center.

Violette was born in Barberton and was a graduate at the top of her class at Kenmore High School. She lived in the Barberton area most of her life and lived the past 22 years at Lorantffy Care Center. She was the secretary to the Akron District Superintendent of the United Methodist Church for many years.

Preceded in death by her sons Laurence and Edward; and brothers Steve and Ernie Voris; Survivors include her sons Joseph (Carolyn) Kindel of Arlington, VA and Frederick (Patricia) Kindel of Cincinnati, OH; daughter Marian Kindel of Akron; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, November 19, 2010, at the Lorantffy Care Center Chapel, 2631 Copley Rd, Copley, OH 44321. Rev. Csaba Orosz officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours from 11 AM until the service time.
