NEW FRANKLIN -- Vivian A. Heim RN, CRRN, RNCB, 63, passed away June 1, 2013 at Summa Barberton Hospital. Born in Canton, Ohio to William and Vivian Mobilian, she was a life resident of Northeast Ohio including Canton, Barberton, Salem, North Canton and the Portage Lakes for the last six years. She worked for Summa Barberton Hospital as Director of Nursing for the Transitional Care Services Unit where she touched many lives over the last six years. Vivian was a graduate of Massillon City Hospital School of Nursing in 1971 and her Registered Nursing career spanned 43 years. Vivian was a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church where she joined following the closing of S.S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Barberton, Ohio. Her greatest enjoyments in life were her children, grandchildren as well as planting and designing new gardens wherever she lived. Vivian is survived by her husband of 43 years, Stephen J. Heim; sons, Steve Jr. (Amhee), Brad (Vanessa), and Scott (Christy); eight grandchildren, Connor, Kyle, Ian, Audrey, Kayleigh, Natalie, Chloe, and Ryan; brothers, Bill Mobilian (Becky), Jeff Mobilian (Vicky), Mike Mobilian (Sarah); and sisters, Patty Heropulos, Renee Kellogg (Dave), Lisa Estock (Chris); and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the doctors and nurses of the Palliative and Hospice Care unit at Summa Barberton Hospital. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. on Thursday June 6, 2013 at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church; 4019 Manchester Rd., Akron 44319. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Acute Palliative Care Unit at Summa Barberton Hospital, 155-5th St. NE., Barberton, OH 44203.
