In Loving Memory of Yvonne JoAnne (Kempe) Miklos. Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not. - Yvonne was born on September 10, 1940, a radiant soul that graced this world with her presence. With heavy hearts, we announce that she departed unexpectedly on December 31, 2025, leaving behind a tapestry of memories and love that will forever linger in our hearts. Yvonne, a beloved daughter of Joseph and Julia Kempe, has now reunited with them in the eternal embrace of peace. She joins her beloved husband of 60 years, Andrew Thomas Miklos, where love knows no bounds. Yvonne leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by her cherished children - Andrea (Tim) Schroeder, Andrew (Tiffany) Miklos, and favorite child (LOL), Arica (Jason) Copeland. Her light continues to shine bright in the hearts of her adoring grandchildren - Drew (Mallory) Schroeder, Andrew and Brayden Miklos, Jalen and Jason Copeland. They will forever miss their Nana, a beacon of warmth and affection that illuminated their lives with joy and wisdom. Yvonne's sister Sandra held a very special place in her heart, a bond unbreakable by time or distance. Together, they shared laughter, tears, and a love that transcends the boundaries of this earthly realm. A 1959 graduate of Barberton High School, Yvonne pursued a career in nursing, earning her Registered Nursing degree from the Akron General Hospital School of Nursing. Her compassionate spirit led her to touch many lives as she worked tirelessly for various doctors and hospitals. For over 25 years, she worked for The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. with her dedication and kindness until her well-deserved retirement. Yvonne's greatest joys were found in being a devoted mother and grandmother. She never missed a moment to cheer on her children in their endeavors, from sports games to scouting adventures. Her unwavering presence at family gatherings and vacations at the beach created memories that will be treasured for generations to come. With a heart of gold, Yvonne gave selflessly and unconditionally, bestowing upon her loved ones a world filled with love, compassion, and grace. Though she may have left this earth, her legacy remains etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we bid farewell to Yvonne, let us carry forward her spirit of love and generosity, weaving her memory into the fabric of our lives. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love that she so freely gave to all who were blessed to know her. Forever in our hearts, forever in our memories.

Yvonne's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours One Hour Prior to the Mass at the Church.
