Connie Marie (Ruther) Lozier

NORTON / DOYLESTOWN---Connie M. Lozier (nee Ruther), 46, passed away August 20, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. Connie was born in Barberton and worked at Angie’s Italian Restaurant where she was loved by many. She was an avid Browns and Indians fan and was proud to wear their jerseys all the time. She was a master of the mind games such as crossword puzzles, Sudoku, Yahtzee and most any boardgames. She enjoyed being outside and taking care of her flower beds. She enjoyed a night stroll in the Village of Doylestown going to the sweet shop where she loved her ice cream. She loved watching the Food Network and was an excellent cook and a great scratch baker. Connie's chocolate chip cookies were second to none. Preceded in death by her father Donald J. Ruther Sr.; grandparents Adolph and Mary Alice Ruther and Denver Sinnett; She is survived by her mother Phyllis K. Ruther; Life Companion Bernie Flechler; siblings Donald (Jody) Ruther and their children Alec Ruther, Carrie Karr and Karli Heinmiller; Carolyn Lozier and her daughter Kiersten Lozier and John (Kimberly) Ruther and their children Cassandra, Tyler and Rylee Ruther; grandmother Aribell Sinnett; aunts and uncles Carl (Cathy) Ruther, Sandra (Edward) Emerick, Sandra Sinnett and Brenda Myers; her loving co-workers; numerous friends and many special customers. Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 10 am to 1 pm at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
