Frank J. Salomone Jr.

BARBERTON - Frank J. Salomone Jr., 79, passed away April 1, 2022 in his home after a battle with cancer. Frank was born on August 13, 1942 in Barberton OH to the late Frank Salomone Sr. and Helen Salomone. Frank graduated from Barberton High school in 1960 and served in the Army Reserves for 6 years. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 39 years and loved to golf in his spare time. He was a member of various lodges and clubs and remained a devoted Barberton socialite throughout his life. Frank was preceded in death by wife Joanne Salomone and survived by his daughter Kim (Keith) Spencer; son, Brian Salomone; granddaughter, Cassidy Spencer and her boyfriend Jason Torok; grandson Ethan Spencer; granddaughter Amelia Salomone; brother Don (Nan) Salomone; sister Nina Salomone and many other friends and family. He was a loving husband, father, papa, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed. Frank’s Calling Hours will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Private Family Funeral Service on Tuesday followed by Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
