Joan M. (Ruminski) Kaplinski

Joan Kaplinski, 92, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2021.  Joan was born in Cleveland and spent most of her life in Barberton.  She retired as a seamstress at CMO Inc. in Barberton when she was in her 70's.  She was a joyful, loving, caring soul, who loved her family very deeply.  She will be forever embedded in our hearts.   Joan is survived by her loving husband of 65 yrs., Frank Kaplinski, son, Ron Kaplinski, daughter, Loretta VonGunten, granddaughter Kristen Powers, (Aaron), great grandson, Nathaniel Powers, sister, Albina Golem, sister-in-law, Clara Pokopac, brother-in-law, Ed Otanicar, and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Barberton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant.
