COPLEY---Joan M. Sinsky (nee Hillenbrand) 87, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2021.
Joan was born in Chicago, IL where she was a resident for 80 years. She lived her last six years in Ohio so she could be closer to her family. Joan retired from the Donlen Corporation after 25 years of service and was a member of Queen of All Saints Basilica in Chicago.
Preceded in death by her loving husband Rudolph; parents Henry and Mary Hillenbrand; sister Loretta Stone; brother William Hillenbrand; nephew Timothy Hillenbrand; and niece Joan Hillenbrand; She is survived by her nephew Robert Blackford; nieces Donna (William) Busson and Dolores Wilson; sisters-in-law Gloria and Joan Sinsky; nephew Phillip De Rosa; niece Lori (R.K.) Long; and extended family members.
Joan enjoyed going to casinos, traveling, playing and teaching others how to play her special card games and spending time with family and friends.
The family wishes to thank Akron Summa Hospital, Traditions Health Hospice Care (Harbor Light)and Dr. Chimezie Amanambu and caregiver Phyllis Eady for their special care of Joan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Calling Hours One Hour Prior to the Mass AT THE CHURCH. Interment at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery in Chicago on Tuesday, February 16th at 2:00pm. Fr. Simon Braganza officiating.
