Karen M. Hurt (Pike), 77, of Barberton, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 6th, 2021. She was born on June 23rd, 1943 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Fred and Grace Pike. She is also preceded in death by her infant brother Freddie.
Karen worked at the Columbia Chemical Federal Credit Union for 14 years and was the Loan Manager officer her last 4 years there, she also worked as a teller for Centran Bank. She loved decorating, walks on the beach, and spending time with her husband, her family, and her grandchildren.
The influence on the lives with whom she touched will continue her legacy. She will be tremendously missed.
Karen is survived by her loving husband David that she met when she was 16 and was married to for 60 years, daughters; Sandra Withrow, Cindy (Dan) Zavarelli, 6 grandchildren; Teddy, Tony (Ashleigh), and Julianna Maglio, Daniel (Courtney), Lauren and Dylan Zavarelli, 4 great grandchildren; Alexis, Ava, Adeline, and Evelyn, her sister, Claudia (Ray) Todd, and brother Dennis (Becky) Pike; 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 3 great nieces, and 8 great nephews who all adored her immensely.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 11 am to 1 pm at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Road W., Barberton.
