Katelin Marie Thomas

Katelin (Kady) Marie Thomas passed away on August 5th, 2020. She was born in Barberton, Ohio on October 15th, 2003 and spent the rest of her days living in a nice county setting in New Franklin, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her Pap Mike and Grandma Carol. She is survived by her parents, Rachel Patterson, Josh Patterson, and Adam Thomas. Katelin was the oldest sibling, leaving behind her brothers, Ashton (12) Joshua (4) AJ (12) and her sisters, Kendahl (11) and Arya (2). She also leaves behind her Grandmas, Tina, Janice, Lisa (Russ) and Grandpas, Greg (Tracy) and Rick (Cheyenne). Aunt's, Stacy (Tom) Cheryl, Brandi, Brittany (Marcus). Uncle's, David & Josh and many cousins. Katelin finished her sophomore year at Northwest High School. Music was a huge part of her life and she enjoyed a wide variety, from Eminem to Twenty One Pilots to Jack Johnson to Nat King Cole. She loved working with her hands and was very artistic, building things, drawing, crafts and jewelry making. She liked skateboarding, binge watching Family Guy and playing her x box. Katelin was an outdoors girl, she loved to camp, hike and to fish and loved all animals, especially her babies - Jack, Baby and Nemo, her pet ducks. Katelin was wise beyond her years. She had a sweet, old soul and loved all things antique. She liked to collect relics and other rare items. Katelin had a smile that would light up the room. She was a sweet, caring, funny soul who will be deeply missed by those who love her. If you are suffering from depression or other mental health issues, please reach out to someone.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Road W, Barberton.  Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev.
