WADSWORTH---After a courageous 4 month battle and just 2 days before her 40th birthday, Lynnette Macko-Blizzard went home to be with the Lord. She was born on April 21, 1982 in Orrville, Ohio, graduated from Wadsworth High School in 2000 and Hocking College in 2002. She has built a life in Wadsworth with her loving husband, of 17 years: Ryan; a mother to 4 beautiful children: Landon (15), Savannah (13), Vivian (9), Griffin (5); daughter to Paul and Kathryn Macko; sister to Paul (Jess) Macko, Allison Macko, and Kate (Ross) Vanderbosch. She was loved by her maternal Grandfather (Richard Dorffer), many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and additional chosen family members and friends. She always put God and family first. She was an active member in her church as a eucharistic minister and former youth group leader. When not cheering on her kids at their events and activities, you could find her coaching, dancing, and supporting her gym family at Crossfit 330. Lynnette exemplified what it means to be a good human and was one of the most positive and caring people you will ever meet. She's preceded in death by: Grandparents (Hillary and Rosella Macko), Grandmother (Margaret Dorffer), Aunt (Jane Dorffer), Uncles (Michael Macko, Michael Wickwire, Patrick Doyle), close friend (Tiffany Painter). The family wishes to thank Summa Hospice Staff, Prince of Peace Parish, Father Bob Jackson, Crossfit 330 family, and the entire Wadsworth/Barberton/Norton communities for their many forms of support.
Calling Hours will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 2-8 at Prince of Peace Parish Hall, 1263 Shannon Ave, Barberton, OH 44203.
Lynnette’s Funeral Mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11:00am followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
