BARBERTON---Marion prayed every day. After being diagnosed with a terminal illness a year ago, she finally decided that her work here was done. She asked God to do something. Marion O’Breza, 87, passed away on Friday May 11, 2018.
Marion was born in Kenmore, Ohio. She was active in the Kenmore Class of 1949 Alumni and a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Her family was her legacy. Marion loved to spend time with her daughters and all the children. She taught them what it means to be a family. She also was the force that kept family together near and far.
She was preceded in death by William F. O’Breza, her loving husband of 62 years. She was also preceded by her parents Julia and Michael Divinecz.
Her living legacy includes her daughters Diane (Jim) Pettitt of Canton and Patti (Joe) DeRosa of Canton. Five grandchildren Chrissie (Ryan) Smith, Julia (Josh) Hostetler, Kymmi Pettitt, Valerie (Dan) Stanley and J.B. (Caitlin) DeRosa. Six great grandchildren Sophia and Mya Smith, Lukas and Ellie Hostetler and Eva and Isaac Stanley.

Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Monday from 5-7 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Tuesday morning at 10:30 A.M.
