PERRY TOWNSHIP---Maureen E. Dudley, (nee Genet), 70, passed away peacefully with her children by her side. Maureen was born in Barberton and has been a Canton area resident most of her life where she worked at Mercy Medical Center. She was a graduate of Barberton High School and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She loved quilting and sewing and was a member of the Cascade Quilt Guild of Akron. Maureen loved being surrounded by her family but most of all enjoyed being a loving “Grammy” and “GG” to her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Robert; father John Genet; and brother-in-law Frank Yurchiak; She will be missed by her children Christine (Steve) Bellamy of East Canton, Michael of Toledo, Jeffrey (Stephanie) of Alliance, Karen Spence (Brock) of Andover and Kathryn Adams of Magnolia; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandson; mother Jean Genet of Barberton; sisters Rebecca Yurchiak, Dianne (John) Boyle, Mary (Bill) Moutschka and Barbara (David) Moss; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the Mercy Medical Nurses and Staff for their compassionate care to Maureen and her family during this difficult time. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4940 W. Tuscarawas St., Perry Township. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery.
