Megan J. Lilly

Megan Jani Lilly was surrounded by her family as she passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, she was 36 years old.

Megan is survived by her parents; Jeffrey and Debra Lilly, her children; Ben, Emily, Liam and Angelo, brother; Michael (Shannon) Brown and children, sister; Nicole Brown. Niece; Alexis (Austin), nephew; Logan and the newest member to the family great-niece; Amelia Lee. Megan was so thrilled to be a great-aunt. Megan will forever be her children and Amelia Lee's guardian angel. In addition to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew and friends.

Megan was a Barberton High School graduate of the class of 2005. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the past 15-years, caring for many residents and their families whom she loved and they loved her back. She made countless friends throughout her career. She was a kind and compassionate person and nurse.

There was nothing more that Megan enjoyed than spending time with her children and family. She loved all the seasons of the years, she especially loved to celebrate holidays and birthdays. She was a good provider for her children and found joy in helping others. She was always a giver, she cared deeply and loved hard.

Megan was always the life of the party, dancing, laughing and making a fool of herself. She would pick and poke just to get a smile. Always being goofy and often being inappropriate! Lol

She had many given nick-names including; Meg J., Mommy Meg, Meg, Megra, Aunt Merg and Megan Jani. If you knew Megan you knew one of her nick-names.

Thank you to Akron City Hospital's ICU doctors and nurses on the T3 Floor. Thank you to Alisha and Kylie for the love, compassion and care you provided for Megan during this time.

We are grateful for Megan's peaceful passing. We carry strength in knowing that she has been released from all the struggles she had. We pray that her chains have been broken and she has been set free and at peace.

Megan's Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Pastor Larry Baldridge officiating. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours will be held One Hour Prior to the Service at the funeral home.

Revelation 21:4-5 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new."
