Molly C. (Hite) Young

Molly C. Young, (nee Hite), 96, of Barberton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2023.

Aunt Molly, as she was known to everyone who met her, spent her life as a homemaker, not only providing a wonderful home for her husband of 62 years, Edwin, but also always ready to lend a helping hand to any family members or friends that needed it. She loved gardening, planting and caring for her flowers, listening to polka music, spending time with all of her family members, traveling with Edwin to their home in Florida, and watching all sports.  She brightened every room she walked into with her happy personality and big smile on her face.

She was preceded in death by her parents Valentine and Cecelia Hite, brothers Valentine Jr., Joseph, Frank, Lewis, and Tony and sister, Julia. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Edwin, Sister Mary Zupic, numerous nieces and nephews, and even more great nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by us all but we know her suffering is over and she is at peace.

Molly's Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
