Nancy Elaine (Datz) Mitchell

BARBERTON - Nancy Elaine (Datz) Mitchell, 90, went home to be with the Lord on November 15, 2021. Nancy was born in Alliance and had been a Norton resident most of her life. She worked for Mt. Union College and Catering by Diane. Nancy was a member of Barberton Evangelical Friends Church. Preceded in death her husband Gene; daughter Linda Mitchell; mother Hazel Shaw; sister and brother in-law Marilyn and Don Burnham; brother and sister in-law Jack and Marianne Mitchell; She is survived by her sons Brian and Janet, Robert and Krista, Douglas and Carol and Kevin and Lizette; grandchildren Dale Mitchell (Brittany Dugan), Shelley (Josh) Uminski, Jeniece Mitchell, Eli (Kelsey Farmer) Mitchell, Annie Mitchell (Randy Marousch), Christopher Mitchell, Torie (Dennis Craig Jr.) Mitchell, Logan Mitchell, Bradley (Stephanie Porter) Mitchell and Megan (Chris) Dalton; great-grandchildren Camryn Emerling, Noah Mitchell, Carter Mitchell, Alexis Mitchell, Sophia Mitchell, Cole Mitchell, Max Mitchell and Jackson Dalton; brother and sister in-law Craig and Linda Mitchell; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to long time care giver Debra Baginski. Nancy’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Barberton Evangelical Friends Church, 272 Robinson Ave., Barberton. Pastor Brian Cowan officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton and also on Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barberton Evangelical Friends Church.
