Paul A. Shultz

Paul A. Shultz, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2023 at the age of 50, from complications from Asthma.  He was born February 21, 1973.  He graduated from St Augustine, Hoban High School with honors and University of Akron with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.  He went on to receive his license in Profession Engineering (PE) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).  He worked in consulting and in the Electrical industry.  He volunteered at St. Augustine as a CCD teacher and special events, the Akron soup kitchen and BACM in Barberton.

He is preceded in death by his father George Shultz (2020) grandparents, John (1985) and Helen (2001), Uncles Robert (1979), Ronald (2006) Pogwizd and cousin Jeffrey (1991) and he spoke of them often.

He will be missed by his loving children Abigail and Landon, his mother Patricia (Pogwizd) Shultz, brother Todd, niece Tiffany, husband Shawn and son Xavier and nephew Brandon, wife Samantha and children Emma, Aiden, Jackson and Braxton, his God-mother Aunt Linda Kesler and her husband Uncle Bill, Uncle Jack, many loving cousins especially Lisa and Michael.  He loved his family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Paul and his father George on Friday June 30, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth Street, NW, Barberton, Ohio 44203 where family will receive friends a half hour prior. Per his wishes cremation has taken place. A Funeral Luncheon will follow the Mass at St. Augustine in the School Hall. Their Interment will be private at Holy Cross Cemetery.
