Ricky L. Engstrom

Rick "Ricky" L. Engstrom, age 67 passed away peacefully in his home on January 5th, 2022. He was a loving father, grandfather and partner and a friend to many. He was born July 1,1954 in Uhrichsville, OH. He spent a lot of his time hunting and fishing on his pontoon boat. He was a hardworking man, he worked as a truck driver then driving for and eventually retiring from Automotive Distributor Warehouse. Ricky spent the last few years of his life driving pilot cars. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Hal & Nellie Hines; Two Uncles, Bob and Bill Hines; and his cousin Sandy Gardner. He was also preceded by his father Corky Engstrom; paternal grandparents, Wardly and Julie Engstrom; Uncles, Richard, Paul, Bob, & Bill. He is survived by his mother Virginia; spouse Diana, children Greg, Justin, Nicole (Michael), Rick, Kathryn (Morris), Robert: grandchildren Luke, Mikey, Lance, Allison, Logan; and sister Kathy; brother Andy; brother in law Johnny; aunts Annabel Houston, Hazel Wood and Marylou Hines; Uncle Ronnie Engstrom; Cousins, Paul &Sherry (Hines)Crane, David & Eileen Hines, Ed &Bernie Hines, Donald Miller, Hilda Lowe, Roy & Dale Hines and Starr Huston.

Calling Hours for Ricky will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Robert Webb officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
