BARBERTON--Robert J. “Tree” Andraka, 67, passed away peacefully at his house on February 25, 2018 after a 14yr battle with Colon Cancer.
Bob was born in Barberton where he was a life resident and retired from Penske Trucking and Leasing. He loved NASCAR, Drag Racing, and riding motorcycles. Bob also enjoyed working on and rebuilding cars and was a mechanic for many of his friends. Bob was also a proud Army Veteran having served during Vietnam.
Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Maryann; grandson Tylor; and sister-in-law Paula Gula; He is survived by his wife of 15 ½ yrs. Mary Ann Gula and family; daughter Kara Burks (Benjamin); son Paul; and grandchildren Katelyn, Payton, Maddy and soon to be born Colton.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Procession to form at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton at 10:15. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
